This article has to be one of the worst ever written about the band. It's just badness wrapped in sadness bundled up in lack of spell check.

I told yekith the same thing.
"Irritantingly pretty"? We can't deny that they're pretty but seriously, do you need to write it on an article about their new album? Does it interfere on their ability of write songs and play them?
Ridiculous.

Actually I didn't mind that or have it be my biggest irritant. It was the sense that the writer was basically fighting with Gerard the whole time and it kind of took over the writing. It wasn't a comfortable/fun read at all. Not to mention his writing/opinions/background explanations were the majority of the text, you barely heard from Frank and Gerard (who were supposedly being interviewed). Just really really bad.

Everything annoyed me, but since that was right in the beginning, it really got me. For a while, I contemplated whether I should go on or not and honestly, I regret my decision.

"Up close Gerard Way and Frank Iero are so irritatingly pretty you want to stretch a bin-liner over their heads."

That is all.

What the fuck does how 'fat' or 'thin' the band is have to do with any fucking thing? This writer is a massive douche.

All that part offended me. Also... I doubt Gerard said he "didn't eat" at all, but that's what they imply, also throwing Frank in the same bag for the case when -supposedly- the one talking was Gerard. After having had proof of how NME interprets things, it's like you can never know what's an exact quote and what's NME's own free interpretation of what the bands said. Makes it more or less pointless to read. Ugh..

NME, I despise everything you stand for.

This has to be the worst written article I've read. I felt uncomfortable reading this. He talks about Gerard's weight like it actually matters. I will be saving the scans for the pictures and that's pretty much it.

Fucking NME.

Also, spell check isn't just for fun.
