Getting more and more excited for September.

I don't want to sound rude but I am curious as to your reasoning? I would think people would want more material and not get possibly burned out (keeping in mind I don't know them or what would burn them out, just thinking). I know I do, I saw them twice this round so that was plenty. But I'm not really a huge concert goer.

But I mean...that stuff changes. If they're really feeling creative and wanting to start a new record and write, why limit themselves just because they thought a year ago they would tour on this record forever? I think touring on this record for a year is a pretty long time, tbh. Further, rushing to put out a new record...I mean. I don't know where that comes from. We have no idea what this hypothetical record will sound like or when it will end up dropping, they just say they're going to demo and write and hopefully put out a record sooner rather than later which is a vague statement at best. A new record takes a while to record and refine, we're talking about a year, year and a half wait which would be two-two and half years from DD. It just seems like being upset or concerned about something that hasn't even happened

I thought this was an interesting interview but I think Mikey is being super polite in the questions, which is totally fair. But bands also have a different perspective on the crowds than fans, especially large ones. A lot of the diehards are going to get up to the front for MCR to support them which I think is great. I think it's great they're having a fabulous time with the other bands and the friendship/mutual admiration society between Blink and MCR continues to delight me, no matter what the fans are arguing about

RIGHT? If that's indicative of what they're writing now and the headspace they're in HOLY SHIT their new album will be astounding. I am curious about what Gerard's lyrics will be like.
