[Awkward] Gerard and Mikey Interview

I don't know about you guys, but this is the most awkward interview I've seen in a while.
Anyway, the interview is uploaded by BBC Radio1 on YouTube, where Gerard and Mikey are being interviewed. They talk about their dressing room, Lady Gaga, Gerard's made up scale to warm up his voice and more.

Seeing Gerard's face, it's easy to tell he was joking more/in a better mood than it might have seemed from just the audio.

They were adorable. They seemed to be in a pretty witty mood as well, lol.

Gerard's social awkwardness was showing, but they both came up with some pretty good stuff to say.

I feel like my standards for awkwardness for the MCR boys are SO LOW at this point. This didn't bother me at ALL. I thought they were a bit fidgety but nothing unwatchable or anything like that. Also, it's a really British interview, for lack of a better description -- like, the type of joking and one-uping the interviewer is doing with them feels very different than the way U.S. interviews go, and I actually prefer it, honestly.

In conclusion, I love them.

ah is THAT why the dude seemed so...spastic? it's weird, I usually don't characterize British humor as so all-over-the-place (maybe because I find American humor to be so fucking obnoxious like 99.9% of the time), but that might explain why he seemed so random.

I agree, though, that the Way boys didn't really seem that awkward. Gerard's "it's DNA" comment made me laugh.

I do not believe anyone would be bothered should he decide to strip on stage. XD Except the censors maybe.

I think the reporter was digging for OMG FESTIVAL SHENANIGANS WITH INTERNATIONAL ROCK STARS, it's just his job. The boys did great under the circunstamces imho, and I'm glad there was no kissing up to Gaga.

I thought the interviewer pushed a bit hard in a few places, esp at the start with the stripping thing, and after that Gerard kind of was determined not to be pushed around. That's really both of them doing their jobs: the journalist trying to get a good quote, and the artist trying to protect himself a bit. Still, went friendly and all. I am always pretty impressed how the members of this band never make others look like idiots. Even after the interviewer said Mikey was an idiot for missing Lady Gaga, Mikey could have been, NO DUMB-ASS, WHAT I SAID WAS THEY WERE GOING TO MAKE US LEAVE AFTER OUR SET but instead he kind of assumes the viewer will get it? I really like that about them.
