Damn. I want to continue the grand tradition of driving out to CHicago for a two hour show, but my Sister is due any minute now.

Assuming she isn't asking you to attend the birth itself, you've got plenty of time to see the baby right after he's born. Even the fastest first-time labors take more than enough time for you to drive back home from Chicago... easy. :)

What is this "acoustic rock lineup"? Are some of the band members still less committed than the fans?

Debatable, depending on who you ask and what you mean by "committed". What we did have come up were some entirely unavoidable issues on the parts of a few people. I'm bummed at the situation, but the excuses are pretty sound.

As we see it, all the more reason to return to Chicago in full force again come spring or early summer...
