Friends Cut

I realise what an arsehole I look, having just added friends and then saying u I'm doing a friends cut. Well I've done it now and I'm pretty sure that people will hardly notice since I cut journals that have been defunct for over a year in most (not all) cases.

nothing wrong with getting rid of the dead wood, I think most would encourage it. It's my cut that could upset a few....

I don't have many, if any, journals that aren't updated these days, the comment tables have seen them get dropped. There are two exceptions but I've messaged them to find out if they are coming back, both replied within a couple of days to say yes, they just need good access to a computer or the internet.

There's a couple that I just don't like anymore, others who I rarely read as they just aren't easy reads. I've added a lot of excellent people in the last six months, iI think I should concentrate on them and my old favourites.

I need to get rid of some duplicate accounts and whatnot, plus a few people I'm sure haven't been active in many months. Just forget to get 'round to it as, well, unactive accounts don't affect me really. =P Maybe I'll do it now. I hate that my manager leaves constantly, I'm still new and when I'm stuck.. that's it. I can't continue working until he comes back and he goes out for hours. He just walks past, doesn't say where he's going and I'm too slow to ask. =( Meh

sometimes you need a bit of a cull of journals that are dead. No point in them hanging about for nothing! You need to feel comfortable about who's reading your stuff after all :)
