Does that title sound scholarly enough?  Excellent.  Moving on...

I didn't really mean to add my voice to the bazillions of reviews, comments, squees, and metas out there, but I got away from myself...  I love that with everything I've read so far (which isn't that much, but...), my view are echoed,  contradicted, reinforced, and called into ( Read more... )

Heh, thanks! Glad you liked that. Wonder if they made a mixtape to play along the way... Anyway, the deaths. Yeah, didn't even think about that until I was actually writing it (funny how writing things down clarifies them!), but there it is. Thanks for responding :)

Very intriguing thoughts. I LOVE Nymphadora "Beard" Tonks! Hysterical. Plus, your discussion of Dumbledore is so interesting. I disagree about Snape being totally unlikable; I've kind of liked him all along, sort of, even though he's a pretty nasty person. And this isn't because I have some sort of twisted bad-boy complex. It's more because I think JK always wrote him with some sympathy, even as he was behaving like a total jerk-off to Harry.

Also, you have to check out the mundane spoiler contest by a friend of Lura's. You should enter!

Thanks! And you are not the only one who likes Snape... I think there are more Snape and Snape/someone communities than any other character! Just a personal preference, I guess ;)

And WHOO!!! Love the mundane spoilers challenge! I've added a bunch. Very fun :) Another funny one? DH: The Rude Bits. Worth the read :)
