the confusion with this comes when we westernized chicks of the 80's/late 70's are showing the world, or at least from what i can see, that getting married and/or having kids is not a priority like it was in our parents and their parents days. we certainly aren't baby booming. that's for sure. total awkwardness.
i am confused with the idea of children and marriage and am running out of time to make these decisions, at least with the kid thing. so are many of my other girl friends.
kids have become such an awkward subject these days. i for one don't pass judgment. my friends children are great. on the other hand i have watched this weirdness prevail among the many childless and/or unmarried chicks i know ...
it really is such a strange time, place, topic.
