To anyone who isn't following the thread, Dragonhaven is Robin McKinley's new novel and it's being released this year through Putnam. EEEEEE!!! I sent her an email and she wrote back! <3 I feel like such a stupid fangirl!
Here is what she said:
"Yes, DRAGONHAVEN will be out next September with Putnam (god willin' and the crick don't rise, speaking of being a country girl).
My webmaster is poised to hang the jacket and the slightly-longer-than the catalogue copy . . . I just keep not getting around to sending her what she needs. I have to say I wasn't expecting to be dealing with advance word this #'~(*(&^%!!!! SOON.
Chicken pox is a *horrible* disease when you're a grown up--and you don't get any sympathy because it's supposed to be some little dumb thing that kids get! Poor you! There's about half a page of DRAGONHAVEN that takes place in Paris, but they're having a good time. . . .
