Connor stepped onto the stage and headed towards center, looking at the group of students assembled in the house. The man smirked to himself before pointing at a set of scripts on the edge of the stage, his eyes sweeping the crowd. He noticed a blonde sitting just center and his smirk grew wider.

Aislinn figured she didn't have a chance in hell at one of the lead roles. After all, she was just a freshman, and not like jaw-droppingly talented or pretty. She could totally work this, though. Chicago was one of her favorite shows ever. Had it not been for parental disapproval she even would have been Roxie for Halloween a couple of years back, and it was Roxie she wrote on the sheet hesitantly. She'd be happy just being in it, period. She just -- she had to give it all she had.

Her audition piece was "Here I Am" from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. It was a cute number and she did it cutely enough to make up for whatever she might lack in vocal powerhouse-ness. And she just kept that cute turned on full blast, hoping she came off charming and someone who'd be a good addition to any cast.
