John stared with naked hunger at the object the Nivvians had laid in Rodney’s hands. It looked almost like…well, there was no other way to say it - it looked like a butt plug. Except it was vibrating.

John thought ‘faster’ at it: it vibrated twice as hard. John thought ‘off’ at it: it obediently stopped. Rodney met his eyes with a grin.

“Ask if we can keep it,” John whispered to Rodney.

“I heard that,” Ronon said with a smirk.

John didn’t care. He’d care even less tonight when he got to play while Ronon took an extra watch.
