for those of you who can't wrap your head around NYC being visible from my backyard, LOL!

The first pics are of the grey sunrise this morning, by the reservoir. Those trees have been begging me to photograph them since I moved here in September. The sky was too grey at 6:15A for good shots of the reservoir itself, but I will get to it this week. But ( Read more... )

Oh, that's lovely! The tree absolutely looks like an Ent. :) I also enjoyed looking back at your moonlight pictures. The moon was incredible last night, wasn't it?

By the way, I'd like to let you know that I often read your posts and sympathize with everything you are doing, even though I don't always have the time and energy to comment. Since we met through a cfids group, I'm sure you'll understand the lack of energy, but I also find it slightly ironic that this same cfids issue is making me a less than stellar LJ friend. However, I truly think you are brave and awesome, and I enjoy reading about your life (even the hard parts). Onward and upward in 2012!

Thank you, and YES, I totally understand about not commenting, not posting. I am only recently getting back to it myself. The funny thing is, I haven't posted back on those two groups where we met, in forever! I do plan to get my ass moving on that article though, so whenever you feel a little spurt of energy, feel free to poke me, OK? LOL!

Hope you are doing well, meaning going easy on yourself and finding the inner stimulation (and I don't mean sex, though that's a good painkiller too. LOL!) to keep you feeling positive. Thank you so much for your kind and supportive words. People like you, whether here all the time or in and out, are what make "onward and upward" possible for me. *hugs*

Lovely pictures.

And OMG - you seriously have that view of NYC!!! AWESOME! I can imagine what it's like IRL too. Lovely, and I'm thinking how lucky you are to live in such an awesome part of the world!

Thanks again for sharing!

Yes, it is even more stellar IRL, and this isn't even considered one of the "better" views of NY from the area. Spoiled, right? The city is here... but not intrusive. Well, except for the traffic.

YAY! I knew that I'd convince other people that Ents are in MY woods. I think they visited me once in a while in my old town, but didn't stay. Up here, They hang around more, so I'm definitely not escaping them! :)
