DAGNABBIT, I'm going to be productive today.... I hope

Clean desk. It's a disaster and I don't know how I get anything done.

Contact a temp agency or two and see what's cooking.

Follow up on volunteering stuff.

Go grocery shopping, though I never feel like cooking anymore.

Clean apartment. ARGH. But I'll play loud music and try to make it a cleansing for myself too.

Spend time outside (as long as the ( Read more... )

Wow! By the time I got to your list you had 5 things crossed off already. You go girl! Why don't you feel like cooking anymore?

I've crossed off a few more things, but I won't have it all done befo9re bedtime. To be fair, you didn't look at it until is was midafternoon, my time. :)

Part of the reason I don't like to cook anymore is because of the heat. Part is because I am TRYING to eat healthier, and since I am a bog fan of salads in the summer, I've gotten into that habit. That said though, I just had a really yummy pork chop with rice for dinner! LOL!

I need a list. You know I'm such a list person but I've been a bit out of sorts with my last day at work being Tuesday and then going back into the office for a bit on Friday. Plus Wesley is driving me CRAZY being at home with me all day. He's absolutely bored out of his mind.

Oh man, bored kid has got to be so frustrating!

Give yourself time to get back in sorts. Make the first list a bunch of things you want to do instead of things you have to do. and PLAY. Get dirty with Wes, be goofy. Give yourself a vacation!

I have to keep reminding myself that lists are GUIDES not rules. It's tough - but you guys were the ones who kept telling me not to be so hard on myself and to make sure I included soul nourishing things too. You can do it, sista.

WOW in the couple of hours from when I first read this to now you've crossed off heaps of things on your list. Well done you.

Here's a hint how to have everything crossed off before bedtime - the things you've not actually done, cross them off as you write them on the list of things to do tomorrow!!! LOL! Least you can say everything has been crossed off today :)

Just remember not to beat yourself up if you didn't get it all done....it was one hell of a list anyhow.

LOL - great thought! I may do that... then again, what if I don't want to do those things tomorrow? LOL!

I have an excuse for not getting some of the other stuff done - doing the mail order meds involved driving to one of my doctors to get a new prescription, which took some time. I did end up going for a walk in addition to the other time I spent outside, so that was an extra. Does it make up for one of the things I didn't do? Or should I just stop thinking IneedtodomoreIneedtodomoreIneedtodomore... I didn't think it was a hell of a list, but given your and Tisha's reactions, i guess I did OK. I always feel like a sloth compared to your mothers though...
