Wow! Do you know what the strip of intense blue visible in numbers 1, 6 and 7 is?

Good question. I've had a good look and I don't think it's a rooftop swimming pool. There's nothing in blue on Google Maps satellite view and it's definitely an office building. The only thing I can think of is that it's a blue sheet covering. According to this, the building's undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment "with a completion of the works estimated for January 2013". So it might have something to do with that?
