First Female Convicted for Incest in Ireland

In Ireland, a man can be sentenced to life for incest but a woman can only be sentenced to a maximum of seven years. That is all kinds of bizarre. Weirder still is the fact that that's where my family comes from in Ireland, hope I'm not related to such an awful woman.

My grandfather and his father were from Roscommon. My grandfather migrated to New Zealand and then to Australia, I know my mum has visited Roscommon, but I'm yet to make it to Ireland, one day that though.
