Even though we played catchup through most of the match, the Aussies don't appear to have the bowling firepower to win this series.

I think that this was our best hope of a win, though one of the Indian bloggers thinks that Mohali will be fast. Our bowling is weak and we'll struggle to take 20 wickets, but we weren't that far away from it in this Test - only that annoying Zaheer/Harbhajan partnership was between us and a near-200 first innings lead.

Mohali and Nagpur should suit the Aussies more but let's not forget who won in Perth earlier this year. India's pace attack is better than ever and if we can replace Kumble with RP Singh, I reckon we can take this series, with a bit of help from the batsmen.

The Perth pitch is dead these days, not like it used to be.

India 1-0.

True, but it's probably got a lot more life than Mohali and Nagpur.
