Less than a week after leaving Montreal, the city experienced one of its
heaviest snowfalls ever! 41cm fell on Friday, December 16 ... 3cm more than what fell on 27 December, 1969 but 2.2cm less than the record of 43.2cm on 4 March, 1971. More than 200 flights were cancelled - six days earlier and it would've affected me too!

it's never supposed to snow in wuerzburg until well into the winter, and there's already been enough snow to make me count down the days until i leave for home. and bush is still doing nothing about the kyoto treaty. i feel bad for collecting all those signatures on recycled paper, and making folks fill out all those postcards to senators because that was such a waste of money, paper and energy.
