It's been a wee while since I made an entry about O Joga Bonito, but this season's English Premier League has earned it. I can't remember the last time when we were so far into a season (Gameweek 21 out of 38) and a team like Leicester City were still contending for the title. Me too. The comparison that I was thinking of was with Ipswich in, I think, 1962.

Oh yes, that was certainly a better achievement - perhaps the greatest ever for an underdog. Not only did they win their first title immediately after promotion, but it was also their first season in the First Division! And isn't it amazing how England's two most successful national team managers gained acclaim from their time at Portman Road.
