It was the broad shoulders, Carson told himself as he curled up under his blanket. He'd heard the rumors about McKay and Carter and should have been prepared.
McKay was everything he liked in a guy. Tall, broad shoulders, sturdy built.
He tried hard not to think of the firm grip of McKay's hand as they were introduced as he slid his hand into his pyjama bottoms. And he certainly wasn't thinking of that crooked mouth and what he wanted McKay to do with it.
Carson pulled back his hand, reluctantly. It wasn't right, he thought. But McKay was hot.

Atlantis, about a year later
"Do something, Carson," Rodney whined, rolling onto his side and pulling the blanket tightly around his frame.
"It's a cold, Rodney," Carson explained gently and wiped the sweat from Rodney's forehead. "You need to sleep."
"I can't, Zelenka will make a mess of my lab!"
"No," Carson stated firmly. "He's quite capable. Now go back to sleep or I'll let Biro take care of you."
Rodney sulked, but didn't dare to contradict.
"You just want to keep me in your bed." he finally said accusingly as Carson got up.
Carson grinned. "Aye, from the moment I met you in Antarctica."
