LIMS - ROUND ONE; challenge one
Challenge One.
Once upon a time, devil made a mirror that has the power to distort the appearance of things reflected in it. It only magnifies the bad and ugly aspects of people, so when they look at the mirror, they look even worse than they really are.
When the devils were about to bring the mirror to heaven, to make fool of the angels and God, the mirror slipped from their hands and fell back to earth where it shattered into billions of pieces. These splinters are blown around and get into people's hearts and eyes, making their hearts frozen like blocks of ice and their eyes like the troll-mirror itself, only seeing the bad and ugly in people and things. - Snow Queen chapter one, H.C Andersen

"Which Treats of a Mirror and of the Splinters"
Welcome to the first challenge of MC_AWARDS's LIMS! If you noticed the similarity between the pimp banners that we spread, you probably can guess what the rounds will be like. We'll run our first round based on the famous fairytale by H.C Andersen titled "Snow Queen", chapter by chapter for each challenge.
THE FIRST CHALLENGE.
for your very first submission, please make an icon with main character(s) as the focus, and a mirror somewhere visible in your icon. The mirror can already come within the official art itself, or if you want to use a mirror texture, that's okay!
As long as an image of mirror is visible in the icon it'll do just fine. Please don't mistook frame textures as a mirror texture. You can use frame textures but please manipulate them in some way until you think it resembles a mirror! Any question? Ask away!
THE RULES.
- You must be signed up as LIMS participant in order to submit
- Your submission should be freshly made by yourself, and fit to LJ's requirements ( less than 40 kb, 100x100 pixels )
- Animated icons/manga colourings are allowed
- Please use only OFFICIAL ART, NO FANARTS ARE ALLOWED.
- Please submit in the following format:
