Lunch with the Code Monks

Several days ago, with some friends from work, I trekked to Old Sichuan (a small and much-loved restaurant in the heart of the International District). There to meet us were Gaurav and Chuck, the founders and sole developers of billmonk.com.

Power users, web services, ninja coders oh my! anonymous January 25 2006, 07:16:59 UTC
It was a pleasure having lunch with you guys. Thanks for all the fantastic ideas, and for all the enthusiasm!

One of the neatest things about the lunch experience for us is how interested you guys were about building new apps on top of BillMonk (e.g. Java phone app). In fact, we left lunch drooling about the idea of having ninja coders on our side. We need to work on getting those web services out to you pronto.

Thank you! And we must do lunch/dinner/beers again!

Interesting. The lunch sounds fun. I have this issue frequently as well, I don't know if I would use the site to track it, but perhaps. Cool idea though.

Oh yeah, we definitely use the SMS interface. I should also mention that BillMonk is useful for tracking any kind of loaned or borrowed money (not just shared bills).
