Oh this is so utterly beautiful and heartwarming and real and kinda raw too...I have tears threatening my eyes right now. It warmed my heart in such a special way. I wish I could express it properly...
I loved how you worked this idea into their everyday lives so perfectly, how you brought out all the members character traits and how they cope with the sheer exhaustion of their gruelling schedule and the pressure they're under. And how this little gem of a statement came from Cheondoong in such a way that it was completely unexpected but seemed to just slip out of his mouth so easily. It made me smile that he would even say that, much like Joon I was thinking it was lovely whether he truly meant it or not.
And then that last scene between Cheondoong and Joon when they honestly expressed their hearts. Joon's adorable way of just blurting out in embarrassment "I'm pretty satisfied with the Park sibling I already know", was so adorable! And I loved him for what he said, showing he cared enough about Cheondoong with or without his sister

Oh wow, thank you for the v. kind comment! I'm so glad you enjoyed this. :)) I really love Joon and Thunder's mutual admiration society -- I've followed quite a few boybands over the years, but this is the first time I've shipped members who seemed close enough to actually be friends rather than just partners, and their interactions are just so sweet and hilarious at the same time.

It's been ages since I've written anything, but I was feeling kind of bummed after that article where Joon talks about MBLAQ being less popular than B2ST, and had to exorcise those demons by writing something unequivocally happy. :(( I'm glad it worked at least on some level!

this was just precious. the way you wrote both sanghyun and changsun was so spot on. and i loved the whole ' this is Dara of 2NE1's brother' concept. it must be hard for sanghyun because as much as he loves his sister he would get sick/lose confidence at being known as her brother, not for being just Thunder. And your Changsun for once wasn't some thick head who breaks poor thunder's heart or is a jerk, you wrote him so well and the hyung-dongsaeng relationship was perfect.

I wouldn't have expected anyone to write Joon as a jerk! After watching Hello Baby (and bits and pieces of other shows/interviews as well), I'd peg Joon as one of the most instinctively compassionate of the members, the first to reach out to whoever is upset or being left out. One of the reasons I like this pairing so much is the way Joon always seems to treat Thunder with some level of consideration; he's never really harsh on him, even just for fun.

Joon's just such a sweetheart -- it seems almost unfair that he's so good-looking and talented as well. XD

Actually, this is my first time reading a Joon/Thunder fic because what I always read are IU/Thunder fics, but this got me thinking of trying it out 'cause I really love the dynamics between Joonie and Doongie~~ and the fact that I'm listening and watching more of MBLAQ nowadays.

I especially love you descriptive you could get with your narrative. It works for vivid imagery. I could feel what's happening in the story, and that's just great! :DDD

Thanks very much for commenting! I haven't seen much Thunder and IU interaction yet, but I seem to remember reading somewhere that she said he was the ideal guy she'd introduce to her friends, and that granted her a place in my heart forever, grin.

But yeah, I really adore the Joon/Thunder dynamic; it makes me so sad that there doesn't seem to be much fic for the pairing currently. :(((

The ending was cute! I like the way you write the boys- their personalities feel real and close to what they've revealed on-camera. Their dialogue is great, too. I also think you did a good job describing the demands of idol life and how everyone deals with it.

Thanks so much for commenting! It actually shocks me sometimes, the schedules that these guys are pushing; I used to follow Jpop, way back when, and it never seemed to involve getting two or three hours of sleep a day. (Or maybe they just hid it better? It does feel like the Kpop bands have so many more activities each day, though!)

I am definitely writing! What I hope is that I can drag more people into it. :p *crosses fingers*
