I read that Vinge omnibus from the Sf Book Club 20 years ago or so, but remember enjoying it very much. What did you think?

The dancing sounds lots of fun!

I hate it about the osteoarthritis. How severe is it? Do they have you on any meds? Have they talked to you about possible trigger foods?

The "Thoroughly Modern Millie" movie is lots of fun; how was the show?

I've enjoyed the Lady Trent series very much, & will miss it when it's over.

The Vinge was so so, not bad but not great. I am feeling much better ;-)
I've just added line dancing to my repertoire (and the veleta!) in a different class.
No meds but normal pain killers and ibuprofen ointment
Thoroughly Modern Millie was awesome (as was the back stage tour. The main star had been a regular on Strictly Come Dancing and was delightfully comic.
Just finished listening to the last Lady Trent ;-( But apparent a story about her grand daughter is on the cards!

I looked up a veleta video; it looks like fun. You really get around the floor! [without having to get polka-giddy.]

Which normal pain killers? Long-term, there could be consequences. I'm assuming you're informing yourself.
