Mmm, pumpkin waffles. Pumkin will solve everything, or at least make you so happy you won't care.

Go you for forcing policy change.

As to the football team, I'll leave you to it. Depite having a weakness for silly or inspirational sports movies, I can't actually stand watching most sports.

Pumpkin is pretty much my go-to happy food, and has been since I had my very first bite of pumpkin pie as a youngster. And, yeah, I'm pretty happy with myself over that; it's a smallish thing, but one that directly impacts my job and my ability to do it well, so.

And, after much deliberation, tangleofthorns and I have decided to lend our support to the Seahawks. Said support will likely not involve watching any games, however, as it's football.

That . . . is a lot of books about baseball.

I ended up catching part of Friday's game on a very large flatscreen television and saw that crazy catch that one dude made in High-Def. It was AWESOME. (I thought of you, of course.)

Yeah, it is. In my defense, um, I'm actually co-writing a miniseries about minor league baseball (which I am sure will one day be picked up by HBO; no, really, stop laughing). So I was actually looking for books to skim through as research. I do love baseball books, though, so I added way more than is probably necessary. Or practical.

Oh, man, I am jealous. I saw that catch (which was, yes, amazingly awesome) on a small 20-inch TV.

Research is good times! I am very intrigued now. There was actually "Ooh, neat!" instead of laughter, I can promise you that.

I don't think we've ever had a television larger than about 25" in my family, so it's weird to know people who have larger ones. 42" I think they said it was? Which to me is ridiculous, but it made the catch really cool to see! I don't even really care all that much about baseball but it's kind of engrossing watching the games actually. And, um, seeing just how much the guys were sweating and how some of the younger ones are still in need of acne cream maybe. XD
