Good boy, Coby! God, he must be as big as a house now :)

Sorry you're not sleeping well. Life still full of stressors, too, I'm guessing. I hope that you're snoozing happily very soon.

I'm OK. Having some trouble with fatigue, but I'm hoping it's just a short-lived detour. Life is good other than that.

I hope we get you back here at some point. I know that RL comes first :)

My camera was broken for a few months; I've just started posting pictures again. I'll get some of the alpaca guys up soon.

We almost lost a little girl a few weeks ago. Ariel's mom weaned her abruptly (she was a lousy mom from the get-go), and the stress from that left her open to infection. On top of that, we had that heat wave. Normally one of us is here all day, and we keep an eye on all of the alpacas, but one day everyone had to be absent. When we got home around 2PM, we found Ariel down on her side out in the sun; she was unable to move and was severely dehydrated. We got her water and cooled her down, called a vet, started her on antibiotics, and rearranged the living area for the moms and babies. We separated the moms with the at-risk babies on one side and everyone else on the other. Everyone is doing much better now. And aren't you glad that you asked :)
