1. We bought our Christmas tree today; it's sitting out in the hallway defrosting. We'll be decorating that bad boy tomorrow. I think. It's a bit of a miracle tree since it took Dar and me about 10 minutes to pick it out, get it trimmed and wrapped and stuffed into the trunk. Which first had to be de-iced before I could open it. HE, yay! There's two of us.

I helped my dad get the Xmas tree and transport it to his house, and he STILL didn't invite me to help decorate it. Although I had specifically spoken to him about it last year, he still preferred to invite the pseudo-grandchildren to decorate it rather than me.

Family. Can't stand 'em, can't shoot 'em. :(

Yeah, my dad was like. As far as he figured it, he had one kid and that was his son. :shrug:

Another Ellison fan! I shoulda figured you for that. He can be a prick in real life I hear, but damn the man can write.

Holmes cat has a very wonky stomach, and he has no problem with any of the Orijen products. I've given them the fish variety before, and they loved it. I wanted to try the chicken this time, and they love that, too. I think there's four types, but this store doesn't carry all of them at the same time.

My brother and I have running jokes about that story. "I have no pencil and I must scream." "I have no clean socks and I must scream." It really works for anything :)

When I'm looking for new comms I check out who my friends are watching. I've found some really interesting things that way, including new places to look for icons!
