I finished about 30 minutes ago. I'd shut my computer down, did my getting-ready-for-bed routine . . . and then had to reboot to say a few things about it.

Oh God...I loved/love that book...I've read it over and over...the spark of hope that keeps them going, in even the direst of dire circumstances...the perseverance, tenacity and sheer grit...the wiley-ness...the pure doggedness of the human spirit...even if it *is* fiction.

Cormac McCarthy at his very, very best.

Yeah. I had the same kinds of thoughts after reading it. I'm curious to see the movie now.
