And furthermore . . .

1. We have another showing tomorrow night. A few days ago there was a rather snazzy red car that made a few drive-bys and then stopped dead in the road in front of the house for a few minutes. I figure it's the driver of said snazzy red car. Also yesterday that older Mennonite farmer rang the doorbell again to see if the house had been sold yet ( Read more... )

The doctors at the clinic I go to are weird about antibiotics too. It can be really frustrating. I hope the nasal spray helps. Saline spray helps me quite a lot, if you have that.

Ozzie and the frog make me very happy. :-)

Sometimes I feel like the best gift I could give you is a weekend in a secure, sterile, sensory deprivation chamber so you could just *rest*

That is one of the most thoughtful gifts anyone has ever come up with for me. Seriously.

I'd love to see a little alpaca/frog play. That just sounds so cute.

I totally agree with 4. It seems I was premature when I said "I can be proud to be an American again' after the election. I am frightened, appalled, and disgusted with what's going on. I am also just stunned by the lack of critical-thinking ability most people seem to have. Has the education system gotten that bad since I was in school? It seems we truly are "A Nation of Sheep" (Sinclair Lewis, I think) and I am once again ashamed of my country. Pip's Mom

I know! I just cannot fathom how gullible so many Americans are. And how can anyone believe in the existence of death panels and a death book? The list of myths about the Obama administration and the Dems in general is just frightening. Someone is going to get killed. Hell, a number of people already have been killed for the "crime" of being liberals.

"A nation of sheep begets a government of wolves" is a quote from Edward R. Murrow. Unfortunately it's been co-opted by the radical right in their insistence that Obama is imposing a tyrannical rule over America. It's like 1984 except it's the populace and not the administration in power who are corrupting language.

I really wanted to say something pithy here, but I am just too stunned at the level of stupidity American has sunk to. I can't even wrap my mind around it. What happened to us? Pip likes *head/desk*. I am doing it to the max. *sardonic grin here*
