And meanwhile . . .

We have had two offers on the house and accepted the one that met our price, but it's conditional on the buyers selling their current house. In the meantime, there's a young man who is dying DYING dying to come see the place. He's done a number of drive-bys and saw the video. He was supposed to come to a viewing last night, but he had to cancel ( Read more... )

I thought of you immediately :) Tomato sauce doesn't seem to really bother me all that much, so it must just be in concentrated form. That and the sheer amount I've been eating lately.

Wasn't it a great ep?! And there are people out there who were meh about it. Because Godric is just a minor character, eh. WTF? Besides the whole arc with Maryann and Tara and the whole damn town is really, really heating up. I can't wait for Sunday.

Aughhh! Flare ups suck. Even though my ANA has always been negative, some of the docs are leaning towards autoimmune. I've had attacks twice shortly after eating potatoes. Why am I not surprised.

There are a number of people who are sero-negative AI. I'm glad that your docs aren't discounting it out of hand. It'd be great if they could finally really treat your symptoms.

I have a friend (the one that I stay with) in NYC who had to cut out all of the nightshades...don't know if she has lupus...we are friends, but not longtime friends...why am I telling you this? Oh...because of the nightshades. Obviously I need to go to sleep?

Oh...how long does it take to drive from MA to where you live? I'd love to meet y'all someday, and for some reason, I'm thinking that it'd be easier to get one me up there than to get however-many of y'all down here...(esp. after I totally stood you up, that time...I still feel shitty because of that!)

Don't feel bad about that; I'd completely forgotten about it, really :) From where we are now, it's about 8 hours. We'd love to meet you, but I think it should wait until we get settled in the new place. We're going to be on a tight schedule for moving (wherever the hell that turns out to be), and I don't want to give the visit short shrift, eh.

I have a friend who's allergic to nightshade veggies, too, and she doesn't have an autoimmune disease; she gets wicked gastric distress instead of the fatigue that I get. I think it's not that uncommon an allergy, all in all.

I know this is probably a moot question but do you folks have a place to GO yet if the sale is successful?

And the 'blood daisy' is gorgeous. :)

I think this will reply to the both of you. We've been looking on paper, but until we get a closing date there's not too much concrete that we can do. Right now we're heading towards leasing a farm for a year. Hopefully the global economic crisis will start to cool down, Mark will have a better idea of where he'll be working, and we can save some money. On paper, it's ideal :)

Is there autoimmune disease in your family? Although allergies to nightshade aren't all that uncommon, and they take different forms.

Stress is a big flare inducer, and that's pretty much what we've been living on around here. I wish I could cut it out of my life as easily as I can the tomatoes :)
