A. Jane fell off of the railing on the deck and into a big pile of snow. She wasn't hurt, but the snow was so deep around her that she couldn't find a way back up onto the deck. I did a little rescue mission out to the back to retrieve the silly cat ( Read more... )

the discovery of heaven isn't 'light' reading by any means but it is never dry and boring and it's written in a wonderful tune. i don't even know how to explain in anything but mixed metaphors, but it feels very comfortable.

Oh dear, alpaca withdrawals. As for the voice what I hear in my head is a Monty Pythonesque "Dinsdale!"

Well, it is said that I'm tough but fair. But to be honest, I haven't nailed anyone's head to the the floor in, oh, months now.

I kind of like the new doctors on House better, too. Well, mostly Chase just used to piss me off on a regular basis (I never forgave him for being such an asshole in the episode with the fat girl), so having him on only occasionally and briefly makes me less grumpy. And Foreman doesn't seem to feel the need to randomly act like an asshole periodically just to counteract Cameron's deranged niceness anymore, so I like him better now, too.

(I'm not sure how much of that made sense. I'm trying to multitask, and not doing a very good job of it.)

I saw it so infrequently until recently that I have trouble remembering who Chase is. He really didn't have a lot to do most of the time, did he? So far I like him; he doesn't seem to put up with House's shit at all, which is always a joy to see.

Chase is the blond guy. He's fine...when he's not whining or being a jerk or sucking up to House. (There's someone on Top Chef now who looks enough like Chase to amuse the hell out of me.)

I wouldn't take all of your books at once, honey. I think Irish said that he has the first couple in paper back, too, so I'll start with that. Thanks for the offer, though.

I think that the battle at Helm's Deep and the flight to the bridge in Moria are the two best action sequences ever. I have the last disc of ROTK to finish, hopefully tonight. Yesterday was just lost in a blizzard of activity before Dar left to go back to NS this morning.

I believe I've missed the shipping deadline for most of the online shopping - and it is a bit different here in Canukistan. It's a gift certificate Christmas this year. Huzzah!
