Hi again LJ. I know it's been a long time again. I've been sorting through/changing things/working too much and I'd like to get back into the habit of posting, even if there's only like 2.3 people still reading. There's lots of things to say, but I have one very important post I need to make first

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Animals are such amazing companions, it is always hard when it is time to say goodbye. You made the right decision to put her to sleep. You put her welfare and Olivia's above your own sadness, and that is what a person who truly loves her animals does.

I sometimes wonder why I can't seem to live without my pigs even when the thought of anything happening to them, of their suffering, is sometimes almost too much to bear. But they add so much to my life...

When she first started seeming sick, I said to my roommate "I'm not scared about where she's going, I'm scared of where Olivia and I will be without her."

And we're doing okay, but we miss her. I miss her.

*snuggles* We have talked of this extensively, but I do consider myself so lucky to have met and cuddled and bathed Nicky. She was the best of pigs. ♥

Oh no, Amber, I'm sorry. :( :( :( That's so fucking sad. But you were (and are) the best possible pig mommy, and you took awesome care of her.
