Che. Can't say the performance wasn't that all bad. At least those actors know what they're doing and had enough competence for this. If there was a repeat, I would go possibly go and see it if circumstance allow me. Whatever the case, it was a rather good show.

...the parade is another story though. How troublesome...

Hijikata, honestly. It's not as though the ship isn't already very clean. A bit more scrubbing and she'll be spic and span. There's no reason at all to be so... brisk.

The Victoria II is the top ship of the fleet, Randy. We have to set an example for all the other ships, otherwise we'd have no standards at all and our reputation will suffer. If we don't give them a role model for them to work towards to, our place as the top ship is useless. As a boatswain yourself, you understand the importance of the keeping the ship in prime condition.

Indeed and I agree with you. But I don't believe the intimidation you use is the best choice. Intimidation forces certain personalities to act out against those in authority positions. I believe encouragement, positive reinforcement and friendliness will go much farther in the long run. It will also encourage people to see and accept things from your point of view.

Tch. In this line of work, I don't need people to understand me. I just need them to obey. Understanding isn't a luxury I can afford - fear works just as well in a pinch.

I highly doubt that somebody burst into your quarters to steal your precious condiments. Are you sure you simply didn't misplace it?

And if you're concerned about crew discipline, I suggest you do something about Agon Ungou.

It's always kept in the same place, sir - and it hasn't been touched since lunchtime yesterday, and its already next morning. Its only highly possible that someone took it or it wouldn't have gone missing.

[Filtered to Edgeworth, Randy & Quartermasters]

...Agon Ungou? One of the pilots?

While I still have my doubts, I'll keep an eye out.

[Filtered to the Boatswains, Quartermaster]

And yes, the pilot. His cheek was obnoxious during leave, and I fear it's only going to get worse. If something isn't done about it soon, I suspect the rest of the crew may take matters into their own hands.

Hrn.

Noted and understood. I'll be sure keep an eye on him, then.
