Yeah, I thought the same thing. When I saw the posters and images of like Katara and Suki (sure it's shadowy but still) I couldn't believe it. And then this came out and I'm foaming! I can't wait for the Super Bowl now--they're going to show the whole two minutes of it.
I know! Well, I wasn't so impressed with the Katara and Suki posters, to be honest. But the Aang and Zuko ones? HELL YES!!
It took me a few times of watching to catch Appa, but zomg!!! I am tentatively hoping that this movie will not turn out to be the piece of crap it was thought to be. Maybe Shaymalan will actually surprise us all with a decent ending! o__o now that's a scary thought!!

I love the real life bending also! I was impressed, although the firebenders seemed to have to firebend using already existing fire instead of making it like in the show. Also did you see Appa? OMG! (I've watched this vid and read too many comments as you can tell). And if you look really closely, you can see the Blue Spirit! At least I saw his blue mask.
I think I'm gonna change my image thingy to the movie poster or Suki...b'cuz it's awesome.
Oh and of course the Avatar State! My gosh, it looked so good! What I love about Avatar is the Avatar State (weird fascination I know) so I was hoping that they'd do it justice in the movie and looks like it!
I'm hoping the acting will be good. I know Dev won't mess up Zuko for anything, but I don't trust Night with the other three. Katara is hard to get wrong, but Sokka and Aang require delicate balances in their personality. When Night mentioned lots of angst I got worried. Hopefully they won't frown through the entire movie, though a darker story just might be appealing.
I think I'll see this movie just for the bending. It made my eyes pop out of my head. :D
The glow, it is good. *claps with approval* That would have been so easy to mess up, but it looks so well done. Appa made me smile. I want to see more of him.

I hope it does do well--and I found out that Eclipse and Airbender come out the same week--so I'm hoping that it beats Eclipse outta the water! XD
