Ooh! Sounds cool. Definitely need pics. What else did you do besides buy art? I've never been to a good comic con. I went to one in London once, but it was underwhelming and lacklustre. I think I went to the wrong one, I was told there is a better London one.
I went w/ my partner who was dressed as Clark Kent and I just wore a geeky tshirt and jeans. I took a bunch of pictures w/ a million people in cosplay. Took a picture inside/next to a TARDIS and just all around enjoyed the sights.
I went to a couple of panels.
One was a country singer from Nashville, TN who sang superman songs. There was also a "Queer Geek" panel but I didn't get in b/c there was only space for 55 people and there were 200 people in line for it.
It was a fun day to just walk around, take in the sights.
I went to a Star Wars convention in 2012 which was awesome and in October, I plan on going to New York Comic Con, too.
1. *makes gesture of sympathy* Take an occasional sleeping tablet if it gets too bad -- they don't knock you out, I found, but they might hopefully get you started.
3. Post away, but the scarves don't really suit my style. :)

I love cons. No matter how big or small.
