Update and new art prints

My gran is back home from the hospital and things are a nightmare. Worst of all is the family fighting. My gran just lies there in a hospital bed in the living room that has been filled up with a multitude of hospital equipment and paraphernalia and piles of boxes of medicine and whimpers and cries and asks to be moved and her diaper changed and ( Read more... )

I'm so sorry to hear about your Grandma. **hugs** I hope they stop fighting soon and she gets better.

I love your prints. City Hall, Lincoln's Inn and Charring Cross just might be my favourites. They are beautiful.

Thanks! Things are really quite nightmarish with my gran, and it won't get better, it's just a matter of waiting for her to die.

Damn. Gritted teeth I suppose with the situation in the flat -- it sounds like one that's not going to work except in the very short term, and that should become apparent to everyone eventually. Work must be a bit of a relief, especially if there are dragons. :)

The situation at the flat is a nightmare. But my gran has reached the point where she doesn't realise, or is beyond care because her life is nothing but pain and helplessness any more.

The dragon is cute. I wish I had a house so I could put it somewhere.

I'm glad your grandma is home. I know you said she wanted to be at home so that's good. Is her hospital bed one of those that can be adjusted by the patient? And did you work out what happens at night? My heart goes out to you all. It'll take time to iron out a plan that works for everyone. I hope it happens soon.

Aw, that dragon drawing sounds like a perfect present for you. Oh my gosh, those prints of yours are gorgeous! I love the print of the London School of Economics and Political Science, & the Royal National Theatre. They're gorgeous!

My gran wanted to come home, but none of us did. The situation is a living nightmare and the only way out is when she dies. The bed is adjustable, but she seems to always want someone else to do it. She has completely given up on doing anything for herself any more. My mother keeps on begging me to kill her before she reaches to state of my gran. It all too horrible really.

Terrible times. You & your family deserve some good luck & happiness. I'm guessing your grandma is happier (Can one actually be happy at this point?) at home, although she probably feels guilty as hell for putting you all through this. Mom has begged me to knock her off before her health gets as bad as Dad's so I know what you mean. I wish I could help you. Best I can do is listen anytime. XO
