Sounds like you had a great time -- home is home, I guess, so I hope you can get the finances fixed soon. You do have a lot of friends in London though. :)

I certainly had a much needed break and change of scenery!

What's up with LJ, why is it so dead again? Is everyone on tumblr and twitter nowadays? Or has everyone just left the fandom?

Not sure -- but then I'm a bit disconnected myself these days. A lot of people do seem to be on tumblr though.
