The air in the greenhouse was thick and muggy. Draco rolled up the sleeves of his robes, wishing he could take them off completely as the material stuck to him, thick and damp. His hair was limp and plastered to his head, heavy with sweat. Absentmindedly, he brushed the damp tendrils off his heated forehead as he studied

Awww, this was lovely! I love how Draco apologized to Dean and Luna... and Luna was fantastic here! The understanding glance between Draco and Harry was hilarious...

I'm so glad you liked it! I wrote this story much faster than I usually do and I was rather worried that it'd look rushed...

I wanted to show Draco wanting so badly to impress Neville that he would even try to become nice in spite of himself, and see that it's not so bad after all...

I love Luna! I would write more of her if I thought I'd be able to do her proper justice.

Actually I love almost all pairings that include Draco, but this one is one of my particular favourites.
Not knowing too much about plants and not having any time for research I was a bit afraid that I'd get a horticulturist telling me off for writting complete rubbish! Luckily that didn't happen.

Draco thinks he's not brave, but just going back to that school after everything takes a certain amount of bravery.

I love the way you bring them together, especially that Draco has to take the first steps himself, before Luna steps in and takes him the rest of the way.

I like to think of Draco being brave in spite of himself and without believing he is, just like he can be nice in spite of himself too...

The way I thought of it, Draco had to somehow prove himself to Neville, hence Draco taking the first steps. I didn't originally plan on Luna taking control, it just happened as I was writting the scene. Luna has a mind of her own, and just took over!
