So, thick black linen thread. Did I tell you about my quest to find it? Because sometimes, no matter how much you want to go local and support the high street, they make it impossible for you and all but push you towards the open arms of online retailers.

Wow, that's one hell of a mission to get thread!! I love the notebooks though, especially the Dalek one, and they definitely look better with black thread than I imagine they would with white.

I know. I started feeling very stupid spending so much time looking for thread instead of just buying it off the internet. But sometimes you really just want to go into a real shop and buy something from a real salesperson and pay with real cash. But modern day realities just thwart you.

And I did think so many times of just doing it with white and getting it over with, but I knew that black would look so much better.

I know, I am an annoying obsessive perfectionist. So often the worst, more tiring, embarrassing events are the ones that make for the best tales to tell.
