I went shopping again

So anyway I didn't get the job, obviously, and the new manager is still driving us crazy at work. I can't wait for him to crash and burn so we can get a new one. I am considering writing a letter of complaint about him. A number of people would sign it, it's just that no one seems up to writing it. And as the most educated person there, maybe I ( Read more... )

Of all your new clothes I liked the Mango shirt best. I want one!

They must have Mango were you are! Mango is everywhere! (online too) Haha, you liked the one I liked least, but only got because it's useful and matches everything.

I think I only can get Mango clothes online, but I'm not sure. Must find out!

LOVE the top and the skirt.

No to the jacket and/or coloured tights with it for interviews.

Hehe, the coloured tights weren't for interviews, just a random idea. I probably would go with black tights then. Unfortunately though, the only nice jacket I have is magenta. It's an awesome woollen Jigsaw jacket. Only because I'm me, I got in it magenta instead of a more serious colour...

Black tights will cut your legs in half. Wear flesh-coloured tights with brown shoes or boots.

The jacket would work with the skirt, perhaps - hard to say without seeing it, although I think I remember you wearing it.

If you can fit into clothing from urban outfitters, you're not fat at all. =)

Hehe, I'm not actually fat, just not thin enough for teenagers' clothes any more. But I never learn.

So much love for retail therapy, & especially for that skirt! ღ Congratulations on getting it on sale, you savvy shopper. Pair it with cinnamon-colored tights & a matching cinnamon-colored top & you have nirvana! I think the magenta jacket would be gorgeous with it. I need a picture of you rocking this outfit, of course. (°⌣°)

I call bullpuckies on you being too old for fabulous turquoise skinny jeans. You must wear them with that chic scarf! And you, my beautiful, modest friend, are absolutely not fat.

That black shirt could go with lots of stuff & will be perfect for your next interview. *nods*

Sorry to hear you didn't get the job you wanted (there'll be plenty of others), & best of luck with getting rid of the new manager.

OMG the sales are on! And only the though of how little money I have is stopping me from hitting the shops with a vengeance!

Boo to the new manager. Now he's trying to play all nice. Probably got in trouble with his superiors on his attitude problem.

Eh, bad luck on the job. :( But at least you were one of the top few candidates, so that's got to demonstrate your CV is good, yes?

You don't seem to have much luck with managers at the current job though ...!

Matching that skirt and top sounds OK to me (although probably not to an interview), but then again, I'm not exactly a fashion guru. :)

I don't think any proper competent managers actually want the job of running our store, which is why we keep on getting stuck with useless ones.

I love matching colours! I have great difficulty looking as serious and professional as people seem to here. Good news is that things are more lax in architecture. You can dress more colourful and relaxed.
