Hey, all types of art are good! I selected multi-fandoms, but I wouldn't be adverse to original art as well.
As for locking smut, I didn't chose anything, because I feel there's a difference between what I do (and would be tempted to say) and what you can prefer doing, for perfectly good reasons. Ultimately, my opinion is close to yours. I don't think that watching smut - which is closer to erotica than real porn usually - should be restricted to adults. It's not particularly secret that people, even in their late teens, make love, and it's also perfectly natural. And it's not even mind-scarring in any way! Now, when there's violence of any kind, there could be more restrictions, because that's scarier, and not only for underaged people, in my opinion

But, y'know, I once drew a fanart that certain ppl bashed for its religous allusions which weren't intended at all, but I've always kept it unlocked for anyone to see. Now I wonder why smut should be any different?
Plus, in my country, legal age for marriage is as young as 16 with your their parents consent. In some indigenous tribes even today in my country, girls are married by 14 or 15... So um, it's really relative, this issue, isn't it? :P
The TOS and legal rules are important to follow, there's no arguing there :P As long as LJ or my image server doesn't ban me for my smut art, it should be fine :3
For me, I just put warnings up and put the risque stuff behind cuts. *shrugs.* It's up to the discretion of the viewer whehher he/she looks. I try to put clear-cut warnings, too.

I've PSW locked my gallery mostly because I don't want any of my RL acquaintances stray in there by mistake should any of that situation arises, which I hope it never does :P
A few of my RL friends know about mine, but I'm not too worried. I never plan to run for public office anyways. *ROFLMAO!!!* I wouldn't be thrilled if my brother or something wandered in there, but he's really the only one I worry about . . . My parents, I wouldn't care. *ROFLMAO!* They've found my art stashes when I was a teen so they know what I'm capable of. :^P

I was gonna ask you something about Death Note, though terribly off-topic this may be :P But I can't find episode 7 on YouTube D: Do you know if it's out or where I can watch it online? (Preferably in japanese raws but English is as good!)
I've regretted splitting my fandoms up in two journals.
Seriously?? o.O Ah, but that's totally understanble. Busy f-lists make you want to prolong a day to 48 hrs. to keep up with 'em *g* But I was feeling my Lj was getting quite a bit disoganised with all the fandoms. And the neat freak part of me wants to straighten that out, but it's prone to happen on blogs. I just need to tag and title 'em correctly for ppl's convenience, methinks. I can do all that neat freak thing on my site *g*

Obviously I can't see any because we aren't mutual friends so my answer will probably be biased, but if you just post hp artwork on your community, I would love to see the multifandom fanart unflocked or posted somewhere so I can see it ^.^ I love what you do. I also am getting into other fandoms and so I would be open to see others.

No age statement or other restrictions whatsoever, even now. I once thought to filter my smut arts in this LJ but the f-list grew out of proportion I could hardly handle it. So I decided to open a comm instead :P

I was getting at that I would love to see others, what other fandoms do you draw because I really don't know other than HP ^.^ I'm already a part of your community by the way ^.^ If there are some fandoms that you draw for that I like maybe you can tell me where you post them and I can look at them that way.

I had trouble with my er... close relative, per se. But I can talk to that person in particular. As to my work collegues and RL friends, welp, I just hope they never find out about my LJ account :P
I wouldn't mind if non-HP stuff was filters, so I could opt out Yeah, I've been tyoing with the idea but honestly? I've done it once but got overwhelming I just couldn't handle it. Were it two fandoms or three, I might've filtered them but when it comes to more and counting, it's too much. :P
