WHAT A sudden meeting to discuss Sergei WHATEVER, EVERYTHING!
WHEN Immediately after Mayor Doe's phone call

WARNINGS Nothing unless you hate information exchanges.
After the call went out, Nigel waited for kids to arrive and ushered them hurriedly up into the treehouse. Once they arrived and got settled in, he began a briefing like any other meeting.
"First order of business. In response to an announcement made by so-called Mayor Doe. I'm sure many of you caught it, but if not, allow me to explain."
He explained.
"I met this man, Smirnov, in this very room. He appeared as if from thin air," he began, recounting the tale of his encounter in full.
"After I interrogated Smirnov, he disappeared just the same as he'd come. Apparently it was beyond his control," he pushed up his shades.
"I can't confirm yet that anything he said was true. But as he was fading in and out, his words were fragmented."
A large paper behind Nigel reads: STAY AWAY ____ LUCY ______ IDEAL W________
__ERICAN BASTAR______IDNIGHT
"The last word he seemed to say was 'Midnight.' So among other things, we need to find out what goes on at midnight. It could be a clue to the "mistake" they made that allowed Smirnov to escape, and if that exists we need to find it as soon as possible. Did anyone else encounter this person?"
"Secondly, if anyone was at the Smith party, did you make any discoveries?"
"And thirdly, we've begun making plans to sort you lot into sectors for some good old-fashioned team missions, so look forward to that!"
