Edward, true to his word, had actually come outside. The boy made his way out of his house in Beaver Street, rolling his shoulders and tilting his head each side as he stood on the steps for a moment. He had gotten all cramped up from sitting reading again. Ed had then made his way down the street, then realizing he had forgotten to ask for a description so he could recognize the girl. Oh well. He assumed he would recognize her regardless, even if he had also neglected to find out which street she had woken in ( ... )

Persephone had reached a new height of panic that she didn't even think was divinely possible. Along her way, the perfect little paving stones of the perfect little town had a single imperfection -- one was higher than the other and the goddess had gone sprawling onto the sidewalk. The air had gushed out of her lungs, the heels of her palms were punctured with the marks of pebbles, and one of her knees was scraped and it was bleeding. Actually bleeding. This human body was far more fragile than she could have even thought.

A few moments after righting herself, she noticed the blond haired boy not too far down the street from herself. Good gods, finally. Some mortal idiot to point her in the right direction. Things were starting to look the same and blend together, becoming endless.

"You! Peon!" she pointed with a shaky shout. "Tell me to the edge of this awful place! I demand to be let out now."

Ed himself was still a little wobbly with his new normal left leg, which had replaced his automail prosthetic upon his having woken up in Mayfield. He'd adjusted for the most part over the month or so he had been here though, attending training with 'Germany' at the park and doing small exercises by himself in his room. He did still falter on occaision however, and meeting this girl would likely be no exception, once she saw him walking ( ... )

Persephone's hands were on her hips and her teeth were barred in a snarl. The poor goddess was on the verge of loosing it to panic, fear, and anger and Edward seemed to be lucky one in the way. "We do not bleed, you ingrate! This is clearly not my body and I am trapped in some horrid nightmarish land where I am surrounded by mortals that don't know how to walk down a damned street and out of a town!" Because, you know, that totally made sense. Totally.

"And you will not call me by name, but refer to me as Divine One," the scrawny girl puffed herself, looking down at Edward aloofly. "I will not have my beautiful name sullied by spoken by the likes of you. Now. You will direct me to edge of this town and I will have no more of this nonsense about not being able to leave. It is absurd."

She stared expectantly at the boy before making a shooing motion with her hand. "Well, go on then. I haven't got all day!"
