Sollux was a little pissed this morning. Well, more pissed then he usually was. He noticed people apologizing to each other and trying to make it up to each other but it wasn't enough he thought. His best friend was almost murdered for having an unusual blood color, he himself was treated like an outcast and his own matesprit didn't care. No, a simple "I'm sorry" would not make up for the pain that he and his friends went through.
He hears Aradia's voice as she knocks on his door and feels a tight feeling in his chest, a feeling of sorrow and hurt. He gets up and opens the door, his expression hard and angry but his voice soft and worried.
She threw her arms around his neck tightly. "It was all wrong. This entire week. It shouldn't have existed. That timeline should have never existed!" It shouldn't have. The session shouldn't have existed without everyone being present. She knew. She knew without everyone, it wouldn't work out. But it did somehow. But it was all messed up.
"I know what happened can't be fixed. You...you don't have to forgive me or any of us. But let me explain what happened. Why it happened. At least let me explain why we were how we were so you know."
"I'm sorry this all happened. I also know that a sorry won't fix it." She knows. She's traveled through enough timelines to know that whatever sticks will stick. This would definitely stick.
"I don't care about why it happened, I don't care if you're sorry or not. Because it happened, nothing can change that. Telling me why or how doesn't change anything, you still acted like the biggest douchebags I've ever known. You still almost killed my best friend. And you still treated me like I wasn't anything more then the fucking air we breathe."
She pulls back quietly, studying the other for a moment.
She lets her arms drop back to her sides. "Right. I...I should probably head back to my hive. I'm sure my female lusus will be very worried because I left in such a huff.
Sorry about banging on your door and bothering you Sollux. I'll leave you alone now," she mumbles quietly.
