Allan had been at home, poking around the master bedroom for feathers since 7 o'clock pm. He had begun to regret throwing the pillows around the room, but what was done was done. It was around 7:45pm when he remembered he had to be somewhere. Walking by the desk, he picked up the paper with the password and headed downstairs then out the door.

"1762 Beaver Street..." he mumbled to himself, watching his feet as he walked. Hopefully the meeting would prove to be interesting. Or at least a better way to kill time than to find more goddamn feathers.

Eventually, he reached his destination and walked up to the front door, knocking on it. Usually he'd call some witty comment as well, but he really couldn't be bothered tonight.

Allan pulled out his paper with the password and waited for the door to open.

"Password!" America said at the knock, although he also looked outside the window and saw that it was Hunter, and waved. He'd been checking to make sure no one knocked who had said they didn't want to do the password, but Hunter hadn't said, so he waited to hear it.

"Uh..." He glanced down to his paper, then began to recite what he had written down. "Alpha-Mike-Echo-Romeo-India-Charlie-Alpha-India-Sierra-Alpha-Whiskey-Echo-Sierra-Oscar-Mike-Echo."

Allan nodded to himself. "That's it, right?"

"That's it!" America opened the door with a grin. "Come on in, we haven't gotten started yet or anything!"

He glanced around to make sure no one had followed Hunter, and then led him down to the basement.

Kaito, on the other hand, waits in the basement. Wile Alfred had taken up most of it with his own tools and inventions, Kaito had claimed the rest with his magic effects. He didn't have any of his supplies from home to make new heist gadgets with, and he was hesitant to touch America's because he wasn't exactly sure how much his 'father' would appreciate his 'son' messing with his tools.

He has a can of opened soda sitting next to him as he reclines in a chair and fiddles with a set of Chinese linking rings, waiting for someone to descend the staircase into their secret meeting room.

Aoko waited next to Kaito, a plate of cookies perched on her knees. It . . . didn't exactly seem appropriate to the occasion, but people liked cookies, anyway, and they went with the soda. Might as well -- it was a way of being useful.

She watched Kaito's hands shift through the rings, waiting as well. There was nothing of hers in the basement. Although she'd been a guest at the house for some time, Aoko never relaxed enough to take up residence. This place -- and Mayfield itself -- was always a temporary situation.

America grabbed a cookie off the plate and took a bite. "Hey, wow, these are pretty great, Aoko! They'll be a real hit, I bet!" he told her.

He glanced over at Kaito messing around with his magic stuff with some interest, but then was distracted by the sound of knocking from upstairs.

"Be right back! Bet we'll be getting started really soon!"

Cornelius fidgeted nervously in the basement, well aware that he was more than likely the only non-human attending this meeting. Not that he wasn't human, of course- it was becoming difficult to remember that, much to his chagrin.

He was a man, not a rabbit, nor a dog, regardless of what Mayfield or anyone else might think. It was time to affirm that.

America absent-mindedly pat Cornelius on the head as he walked by, and then pulled it back.

"Oh, sorry! Hey, do rabbits drink soda pop? There's plenty of kinds!"

Japan had planned the day out fairly meticulously, preferring to avoid any unexpected surprises. Using materials he had available, he was barely able to whip up some Japanese dishes for the meeting. A part of him was pleased that he was provided food because most western food didn't sit too well with him. Especially scones and an over dosage of hamburgers.

Throwing what he could make in a container, he hiked it over to the meeting place and gave a light knock on the door. No, he didn't use the password.

"Ah, America-san. It's me, Japan."

America pouted and considered asking for the password, but thought better of it. Instead, he opened the door, and frowned when he saw Japan brought the food.

"Oh...actually, it turned out you didn't need to bring anything, Japan. But we can still eat it and stuff I guess."

She'd left Matthew at home to watch after Shiraasan, Palom, and Jigglypuff. Anything important that happened here she could relay to him later. Like a good guest, she'd brought along a plate of cookies; and, as promised, a copy of Superman for Alfred. Mia rapped on the door quickly and didn't bother giving a password.

America glanced out the window and saw that it was Mia, so he didn't bother to ask for the password. Instead, he opened the door for her, and grinned when he saw the comic.

"Yes! Thanks, Mia!"

She laughed and passed him the comic while balancing her plate of cookies deftly. "Of course. I hope you enjoy it - I haven't had a chance to read it myself yet."

"Thanks, Mia. Gosh, those cookies smell really good!" He put the comic down on the table in the kitchen, and then led her down to the basement.
