It was unsettling, how the whole town could change from something from a 50s horror movie to something from a 50s sitcom overnight, but apparently, that was how it worked. Kaito wandered down the streets, taking in the repaired surroundings as he made his way to the park.
A deck or three of cards, scarves, juggling balls, metal hoops, and various other things hidden on his person, hands jammed into his pockets, walking down the street whistling a tune he heard on the radio. He was going to get some practice time in, away from his "family" (who were nice, yeah, but still, personal space), he was going to enjoy the lovely weather, and he was not going to think about any of the things that had happened recently. Not about the other "him", not about Simon and what he had done, not about the conversation with Aigis, not about the fact that he had promised Aoko not to hurt the other "him".
