Heya, Mayfield! Name's Trev-MUN, and I'm one of the fresh batch of newbies this round; I've brought in this guy, Balin Wilbur. He'll be living at 847 Goldberg Street with Virginia Maxwell and Caesar Silverberg. Balin's an original character, but he comes from Tabula Rasa. (It's a world that encourages making OCs.) I've posted my app and some other useful information to his journal, if you'd like to read the details!
Here's a few things about Balin:
* Balin is a native Philadelphian. He's got a pretty strong Philly accent. (You can hear some good examples of how that sounds here.) I'm going to try and strike a balance between readability and representation, so let me know if I'm taking the accent too far.
* Balin is a Logos Receptive. He understands the language of the Eloh and, if/when he gets his Logos Abilities back, will be able to manifest Logos Elements (kind of like how a wizard might manifest runes or the like). Logos uses a pictographic/ideographic language. In my posts, I'll occasionally use them (such as when Balin uses a Logos Ability). It'll look kind of like this:

I'll try and not go overboard with these, but they do hold a major significance to Balin and others from his world, so just a heads up.
And one thing about me: While I'm not new to RPing, I am new to LJ RPing. I've spent some time checking Mayfield out before deciding to app here, but beyond that I've no experience with this kind of roleplay. I'd be glad to hear any advice you vets might have, and be sure to let me know if I'm screwing up somewhere!
