Reason for Canon Update: My previous backstory (or rather the Ex-Nazi part of it) was making people uncomfortable for various valid reaons, and I felt the need to change it so that the game could run cohesively. It was either this or drop him.
Updated Background:
I am going to be retconning basically everything I had previously written in his background. TF2 actually has very little canon, and so I'm going to run with that rather than filling in the blanks as I had done previously.
The most that we canonically know about Medic is that he was born and raised in 'Stuttgart, Germany during an era when the Hippocratic oath had been downgraded to an optional Hippocratic suggestion'. He also has no 'verifiable formal training in medicine'. (See his TF2 wiki bio for more
