POOL - DEEP END

Ahh, the deep end of the pool. Where all the "serious" swimmers hang out. The pool is only twelve feet deep, but for a novice swimmer it's quite the depth! Can you touch the floor of the pool? On second thought, do you want to touch the floor? Who knows what you'll find at the bottom! Gross!

The diving board is at this end of the pool. Time to show off some neat stunts! Just don't perform a belly flop. Seriously it stings! Also, jumping on someone on a raft or a swim ring is highly discouraged. And painful. Good thing there aren't any lifeguards around to blow the whistle on you, at least!

I can't stop smelling like delicious cuttlefish, it's not like I can j-just go in and change my DNA.

[You may think you're a shark, Mart, but you still need air to breathe. So the next time Mart surfaces for air, there will be a basketball flying toward his head.]

[And that basketball hits its mark, slamming Mart right in the face. The ball is floating on the water, and Mart is furious.]

[Slugger is attempting to blend in with the crowd and not look at Mart. Judging by the direction the ball came from, it's still pretty obvious that he's the culprit.]

[Mart immediately recognizes Slugger, and is therefore the easiest suspect to point out. He points accusingly.]

[All innocence is proven false when Slugger's face breaks into a grin. Yeah, he threw it. What you gonna do about it, Mart?]

I'm gonna teach you a lesson you creepy little shit!

[Mart leaps out of the pool and attempts to grab Slugger in order to shove him into the water]

[Once he's caught, it's very easy to throw him bodily into the pool. He hits the water back-first with a splash and thrashes around a bit.]

[Mart points and laughs at the soaked Slugger.]

How do you like that, asshole!

[He stops and just kind of floats there with his head above the water. His clothes are full of water but it actually feels nice and cool.]

Not bad.

[Hey Mart. Remember that basketball he threw at you? He has it again and now he's chucking it in the direction of your head!]

[Donk! It hits him right in the face.]

[He bares his teeth and snaps them together once as if to say "like so".]

[The ball, after bouncing off of Mart's face, has rolled back into the water where Slugger grabs it again. He doesn't throw it this time, just wraps his arms around it to stay afloat. Now that he's in the pool, he isn't sure what to do. This is the first time he's ever actually been in one.]
