He seems to be doing better now. He's moving around more and seems pretty alert. And yeah, totally a mouse of the Lord, and just as sweet as his namesake. ♥

Poor mini!Cas! :< He's moving, though, and that's got to be really good. Give him more time for healing, like you're doing already. You'll probably also want to make things super easy for him, so if he /is/ somehow hurt he'll have an easier time of it.

He's acting completely normal now, which would definitely not be the case if he had internal injuries or anything, so I think we got off lucky. :D

Yep, I've lost other pet mice to similar accidents. It's always awful, but I have had to accept that it's always a risk with such teeny pets.

It looks like Mini!Cas is going to be okay, though. \o/
