I'm enjoying this story so much. I loved Jack when I was more into SG1 and you have him down pat, and Jack and Dean teaming up to solve a mystery is seriously awesome. Their interactions, the small mentions of John, both Sams and Daniel are done so well too. I look forward to the rest :)

Thank you so much! I'm especially pleased that the characters ring true to you. For some reason I really enjoy writing from Jack's POV. He just has such a unique outlook on life--always concerned about his team and his friends, yet with this potent layer of snarkiness. :) I'm glad you like how the other characters are being woven in, too.

I love this, and if when it ends you don't do a sequel i'll be seriously pissed!
the conversations are awesome and their issues are alike and not, I just hope the ghost really is Susanah and not Abe!

Until you mentioned what happened to Abe I was totally thinking the ghost was him and not Susannah. Poor girl. It certainly explains why she went after Dean.

I made them up, yeah, though I did do some research on the history of Minnesota at the time, Indian captives, that sort of thing. I'm glad you liked their story--I was hoping some people would comment on that. First time I've tried to write anything like a ghost story, and I enjoyed it. I do feel bad for Susanna and Abe, though. I'm a big sister, and my worst nightmares were always about something happening to my little siblings.
