I'm glad you like that line! :D It's definitely my favorite of the chapter. Writing this story has given me an opportunity to let loose my inner sarcastic jerk. I'm really quite sweet in person.

Thanks for the lovely feedback! I'm glad the characters ring true to you. And yeah, one of the fun things about writing such stories is seeing beloved characters through each other's eyes.

I'm glad you liked the conversation with Daniel, too. That was fun to write. I think Jack would be honest if he could, but that would just take WAAAYY too much time and energy at this point. :)

I love the fact that Dean does not push for Jack's secrets but so want it to turn around bite Jack at some point even if you have to write a entire new story for it to happen.

Hee, yeah, I think Daniel will figure out that something else is up before too long. He knows Jack too well.

And I do want to write another the story where the shoe is on the other foot, so to speak, with JacknDean (and maybe Sam?) facing an alien threat instead of a supernatural one. That also will be loads of fun to write.

This is brilliant. I've just got into Supernatural and fallen in love with Dean completely. Matching him up with Jack, my favourite Air Froce General, is a stroke of genius.

I'm glad you like the story. I just fell in love with Supernatural over the summer, and yeah, Dean totally owns my soul right now. And I've loved Jack and SG-1 for quite a bit longer than that. So when the idea occurred to me, I couldn't NOT write it.
